OutfitEZ Sizing Guide
Sizing is a crucial part of us getting you clothes that you will enjoy wearing, and we need to have your accurate measurements. You will only need to enter these measurements once, at sign-up, and they will be held in your account information where you can change them in future if necessary (we won't track if they are moving up or down!!)Below are the basic measurements that are required for most items of clothing. Most of these measurements are actually listed on clothing you buy, and the easiest, and usually most accurate, way to get the measurement is simply to look on the label of clothes that fit you well. If you need to get out a tape measure, then this guide will show how and where to measure to get an accurate sizing. If you don't have a measuring tape handy, you can use a piece of string and then hold it alongside a ruler.
WAIST
- This is usually as simple as reading the label on a pair of pants
that
fits you well. The waist measurement is usually followed or preceeded
by the letter
W on the tag to differentiate it from the length. On some tags the
waist and inseam are shown as, for example, 36x32 in which case the
waist is the first number. If you don't have a pair of pants that fits
you well, measure
just below waist at the height you normally wear trousers. Keep
a finger between your body and the measuring tape for an accurate fit.
Measurement is in inches. (1 inch = 2.2 cm). Available choices are: 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46

INSEAM
- this is the length of the pants leg. Again, this is usually as simple
as reading the label of a pair of pants that fits you well. The inseam
length measurement is usually followed or preceeded by the letter L on
the tag to differentiate it from the waist measurement. On some tags
the waist and inseam are shown as, for example, 36x32 in which case the
inseam length is the second number. If you can't find these numbers on
tag, measure from crotch seam to bottom of pants. If you don't have a
pair of pants that fits you well, you'll need a friend to measure from
your
crotch to where you want your pants to end, breaking at the top of the
shoe in the front and just above the heel in the back (you'll need to
be wearing shoes). Available choices are: 29, 30, 32, 34, 36

NECK - Find
a shirt that
fits you comfortably in the collar when buttoned up for a tie. Usually the
neck size is on the label and you're done. Otherwise lay the collar flat,
measure from the center
of the top collar button to the end of the buttonhole. The number of inches equals your
neck size. Round up - for example, if you measure 17¼, round up to 17½. If you don't have a shirt that fits well around the collar then
measure around the base of your neck. Again, the number of inches equals your
neck size. Round up. Available choices are: 13, 13½, 14, 14½, 15, 15½, 16, 16½, 17, 17½, 18, 18½, 19, 19½

SLEEVE - This measurement can often be found on the label of a dress shirt you have. It is usually the second of two numbers there, and should be in the range below. If not, place your hand on your hip with your arm bent at 90 degrees. Measure from the middle of the back of your neck, across the shoulder, and down your arm to the wrist. The number of inches equals your sleeve length.
Available choices are: 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 35.5, 36, 36.5, 37
This measurement is recommended but not required to sign up.
CHEST - Raise your arms slightly and measure around your body. Be sure to measure across your shoulder blades and the fullest part of your chest, and to hold the tape level.
Available sizes are whole numbers between 33 and 55.

SHOE SIZE Definitely the easiest is just to tell us the size written on a pair of shoes that fits you comfortably. Next best is to visit a shoe store and get an assistant to size your feet. But if you are determined to do it yourself, here's how. Our shoes are ordered in US sizes, but if you know your shoe size in EU, UK or Japanese sizes, then use this international shoe size conversion table to get the US size.
Available choices are: 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, 11.5, 12

Shoe width should also be specified - choices here are C, D, E, EEE which represent widths from narrow to wide. Again these can usually be found on the shoes you are most comfortable with. D width is the standard size, and if no width is shown on the shoe, it is probably a standard D width.
